ExiTide Testing And Quality
Ten seals appear in the ExiTide artwork. One of them, the GMP mark, describes an audited process; one, the guarantee, is a promise to the buyer. The rest are claims about the capsule, and because the panel names all eleven ingredients with an amount beside each, most of them can be held against an actual list. Registered FDA facility is a listing rather than an approval.
The ten ExiTide seals, read one at a time
Each seal below carries the words printed on it, and what those words can support.
Two of the ten do work that can be checked from outside: the Good Manufacturing Practice mark describes an audited process, and the money-back seal is a promise this desk keeps. The other eight say something about what is in the bottle or where it was made, and every one of those can be held against the printed panel.
The one thing the ExiTide label does that most panels do not
It prints all eleven amounts. Riboflavin 25 mg, mangosteen powder 100 mg, prickly pear extract 100 mg, cinnamon bark extract 100 mg, konjac extract fibre 50 mg, alpha lipoic acid 25 mg, turmeric extract 15 mg, berberine HCl 15 mg, resveratrol extract 12 mg, and 1 billion CFU for each of the two live cultures. No proprietary blend, no grouped total, nothing hidden inside another number.
Three of the eleven print a standardisation as well, which turns a name into arithmetic anyone can repeat. Ninety per cent of 50 mg is 45 mg of glucomannan. Ninety-five per cent of 15 mg is about 14 mg of curcumin. Twenty per cent of 12 mg is 2.4 mg of resveratrol.
That matters more than it sounds. NCCIH notes that oral curcumin products vary in how much curcumin they actually contain — a question a printed percentage answers before it is asked.
The two live cultures are counted in colony-forming units rather than weighed in milligrams, which is the honest unit for something alive, and riboflavin carries a percent Daily Value at 1,470 per cent.
Everything else on this page rests on that. A gluten-free seal on a proprietary blend cannot be tested by a reader; the same seal beside fifteen named ingredients can.
What FDA registered means on an ExiTide bottle
Facilities that make food and dietary supplements register with the FDA. The agency’s own page is specific about what that is worth: although such facilities are frequently required to register, the agency does not approve manufacturing facilities independently, and mere registration does not denote approval of the establishment or of a product.
The same page is equally plain about the products. By statute the FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness, and many are marketed without the agency even being notified.
None of which empties the seal — registered facilities are inspectable, and the FDA does inspect them against current good manufacturing practice rules. Registration is a list rather than a verdict.
So the seal places the factory on a register. It stops short of saying that anyone has opened a bottle from lot EXI-26/GE-7602 and measured what came out.
What the ExiTide GMP seal describes
Good Manufacturing Practice is a process standard: how a facility documents its procedures, identifies incoming materials, cleans between runs and keeps records an auditor can follow. Of the ten marks here it is the only one describing something a third party goes in and inspects.
Three pieces of information turn a GMP mark into something traceable — the certifying body, the date of the audit and a certificate number. With those a reader can go and look it up.
The Doctor Formulated seal works the same way. It describes a development process rather than a referral or a review, and the material this desk holds names nobody, so there is nobody to look up.
Which ExiTide seals the printed panel can actually back
Fifteen ingredient names are printed in total: the eleven on the panel, and the four on the other ingredients line, which are hypromellose, rice flour, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.
Against that list three seals become checkable. Hypromellose is a plant cellulose rather than gelatin, which is what a vegetarian capsule shell means. None of the fifteen is a wheat, barley or rye derivative, and none is a dairy ingredient.
The GMO-free seal is a claim about those same fifteen names, which at least makes it the kind of statement that could be tested. No certifying scheme is named on it, so it stands as the manufacturer's own assurance.
The natural ingredients seal is the weakest of the ten — natural has no regulatory definition for dietary supplements, and two items here are defined chemical compounds however they are sourced.
What ExiTide is allowed to claim, and who checks it
A dietary supplement may describe the role an ingredient plays in normal structure or function. FDA calls these structure/function claims and is specific about who carries the weight: the manufacturer must ensure the claim is accurate, notify the agency within 30 days of marketing, and print the disclaimer saying it has not been evaluated.
A notification is not a review. Nothing becomes approved by being filed, and only a drug may legally claim to treat a disease — which is why the use case printed at the top of each page here is metabolic support.
Advertising is governed separately and more tightly. The FTC requires adequate substantiation for every objective claim an advertisement conveys, expressly or by implication, and competent and reliable scientific evidence behind a health claim. Implied claims count, and so does a true sentence made misleading by what sits beside it.
What this desk does not claim about ExiTide testing
- That the finished capsule has been trialled. What research exists is on single ingredients.
- That any seal is a laboratory result. Nine of the ten are claims about the capsule or promises to the buyer; the tenth describes a process.
- That a certificate reference is a certificate. It is the number a file is held under.
- That registration is an inspection result, or that an inspection is an approval.
- That this desk holds purity, heavy-metal or microbial assays for lot EXI-26/GE-7602. It holds the reference, and it says so rather than dressing it up.

None of the right-hand column is exotic, and several rows are cheap to print once the information has been gathered. The left-hand column is already ahead of most of the category on the row that counts most — a panel that prints eleven figures invites the arithmetic on the ingredients page, and a panel that prints a blend total does not.
How this desk reads an ExiTide seal
This desk publishes what the label prints and says plainly where a figure is not published. The four claims below are the ones a sceptical reader can audit in ten minutes, which is the only reason to make them:
- The printed panel is the source. Every amount on this website is read off the ExiTide Supplement Facts panel in the seller’s own label artwork, in the panel’s order and the panel’s wording. Prices come from the seller’s order page, read on 18 September 2026, not from a review column.
- Nothing is rounded up or filled in. A 10:1 extract is printed as a 10:1 extract; a standardised percentage is carried through to the milligrams it represents; a live culture is printed in colony-forming units because that is how the panel counts it.
- Sources are real and linked in the sentence. Every study cited here was confirmed against its PubMed record before it was written down, and every government page was opened and checked by its title rather than assumed.
